Family Medicine- FullTime-NP/PA

Full-time, benefits-eligible position with a 40-hour workweek. Schedule is Monday–Friday; specific hours may vary based on clinic needs.

About the role

Join One Health, an innovative group of providers delivering patient-centered primary care throughout the Piedmont of North Carolina. This role partners with Atrium Health, the largest healthcare system in North and South Carolina, to transform healthcare delivery through compassion, evidence-based medicine, and team member wellness.

• 60 physicians and 50 advanced practice providers (APPs) fully integrated across 30 practice sites
• Outpatient primary care with a telephone call rotation averaging once every 30 days
• Embedded urgent care clinics providing care 7 days a week
• Multiple locations to connect providers with communities
• Access to system-level care management resources and virtual technology

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care across a wide spectrum of primary care conditions within a practice
• Perform common outpatient procedures
• Function independently in primary care (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health) in collaboration with a supervising physician
• Manage longitudinal care, disease management, or provide overflow/sick visit coverage
• Emphasize preventative care, health promotion, and illness/injury prevention
• Alternatively, function independently in on-site occupational or teammate health clinics, focusing on single-visit encounters with an emphasis on illness reprieve and medication/vaccination compliance
• Coordinate staffing and orientation of assigned team members
• Plan and conduct ongoing education and training
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
• Promote patient-centered communication and care

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Midwife
• Passion for providing patient-centered care
• Focus on collegiality, professionalism, compassion, personal growth, and leadership development
