A Portland, OR area family law firm is on the search for a Family Law Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join their team. Responsibilities

• Supporting and collaborating with family law attorneys
• Providing excellent care to clients from the beginning to the end of their case
• Handling divorce cases and family law matters
• E-filing in OR state
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Calendaring and trial prep

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience handling divorce cases and family law matters
• Experience e-filing in OR state
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Strong levels of professionalism including general dependability, strong work ethic, attention to detail, able to collaborate as well as work independently, empathetic and clear communicator

Qualifications

The salary range for this position is 50k - 90k depending on experience. Benefits include medical and dental, retirement plan, 12 days PTO + paid sick time + paid holidays, CLE's paid by firm for continued education, and bonus opportunities.
