Family Law Paralegal

About The Role The Family Law Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to support active family law matters from case opening through litigation. This role requires strong drafting skills, attention to deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and client care. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, and comfortable taking initiative in a structured legal environment. Key Responsibilities Support attorneys in family law litigation mattersDraft, prepare, and revise pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, notices, and correspondencePrepare financial affidavits and assist with document collection and case organizationManage case files, deadlines, court dates, and litigation calendarsCoordinate filings and service of documentsCommunicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties in a professional mannerAssist attorneys with hearing, mediation, deposition, and trial preparationMaintain accurate case information and documentation in Clio or other case management systemsHelp ensure files are moving forward efficiently and no deadlines are missed Requirements Required Qualifications 5+ years of litigation paralegal experienceStrong drafting experience with pleadings, discovery, and litigation support documentsExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple active cases and deadlines effectivelyProfessional written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in a fast-paced legal environmentAbility to work in-office in Coconut Grove Preferred Qualifications Family law experienceExperience with ClioSpanish-speaking ability What We're Looking For A paralegal who is dependable, responsive, and highly organizedSomeone who can anticipate needs, stay ahead of deadlines, and follow throughA professional who takes ownership of their work and values accuracyA team player who communicates well and contributes to a positive office environment Benefits $65,000 - $90,0000 - The total compensation range, including bonus opportunities, will be based on the candidate's years of experience.
