About the role
Respected and established family law firm in the Denver metro area, is seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join its Denver Tech Center office. Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all phases of family law cases from inception through resolution
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing professional and responsive communication
- Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and case management systems
- Document Preparation & Discovery
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, financial disclosures, and other legal documents
- Aid with discovery requests, responses, and document organization
- Prepare court filings and ensure compliance with applicable deadlines and procedures
- Trial & Hearing Preparation
- Organize case materials, exhibits, and supporting documentation for hearings, mediations, and trial
- Court coordination with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other legal professionals as needed
- Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is properly filed and organized
- Support attorneys with ongoing case management and litigation needs
Qualifications
- At least 3-4 years of litigation paralegal experience in family law or civil litigation
- Family law experience is strongly preferred
- Experience drafting legal pleadings, correspondence, and court filings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $75,000-$90,000 based on experience
