About the role
The client is seeking an Attorney with 10+ years of experience to handle a sophisticated family law caseload, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and other domestic relations matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage family law matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and court appearances
- Handle discovery, depositions, and case strategy development
- Advise clients on custody, support, property division, and related family law issues
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients throughout the litigation process
- Maintain regular client communication and provide strategic legal guidance
- Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
Qualifications
- Admission to the New Hampshire Bar (Massachusetts, and/or Maine Bars a plus)
- 10+ years of family law experience
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills
- Experience handling contested family law matters independently
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities
- Able to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional client service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
