Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad range of family law matters, including:Divorce and separationChild custody and parenting time disputesChild support and alimony mattersEquitable distribution and property divisionPost-judgment and enforcement matters
  • Conduct client consultations and provide legal guidance throughout the representation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
  • Prepare and file court documents in compliance with applicable rules and deadlines
  • Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and depositions
  • Develop case strategies and negotiate settlements when appropriate
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide exceptional client service
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar
  • Prior family law experience is strongly preferred, but qualified attorneys with transferable litigation experience will also be considered
  • Strong understanding of New Jersey family law procedures and practice
  • Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence
  • Able to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach
