About the role
The Grey Legal Group, APC is a dynamic, fast-growing family law firm seeking an experienced family law attorney to join the team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a client-focused, goal-oriented environment where personal and professional growth are valued.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients and other counsel
- Draft pleadings and conduct discovery
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, settlement conferences, and trials
- Perform legal research
- Manage all aspects of a client's case
- Handle DVRO and trial experience
- Knowledge of CA Discovery
Requirements
- Hard-working TEAM player
- Experience in family law, including child custody and domestic violence
- Knowledge of CA Discovery
- A California Bar License in good standing
- High levels of self-esteem, empathy, and compassion
- Ability to put clients at ease
- Understanding of clients' problems beyond legal issues
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Extremely comfortable with technology
Qualifications
- Experience in family law, including child custody and domestic violence
