Family Law Attorney

About the role

A well-regarded midsized law firm in Downtown Seattle is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their group. This attorney will support a variety of family law matters on a supportive and experienced team. The firm encourages work-life-balance with a low billable requirement of 1200 annually.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of high-conflict family law matters, including contested divorces, custody disputes, and related proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, declarations, and settlement proposals
• Handle discovery, pre-trial preparation, and hearings
• Appear in King County and surrounding courts
• Advise clients through emotionally complex situations with professionalism and empathy
• Work closely with colleagues in a team-oriented boutique setting

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Bar license (required)
• 2+ years of family law experience
• Strong litigation, writing, and client-management skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a close-knit legal team

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $100,000–$110,000 yearly
• On-target bonus of 20% + additional performance incentives
