Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload across divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence matters
- Handle cases from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings and discovery
- Prepare for and appear at hearings
- Negotiate settlements
- Work directly with clients to keep them informed and supported throughout their case
- Significant court exposure and client contact from the start
Qualifications
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- Strong working knowledge of California family law and court procedures
- Comfortable handling hearings and direct client communication
- Strong writing, organization, and case-management skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage a caseload independently while knowing when to lean on the team
Skills
