About the role
The role is dedicated to providing comprehensive support services to foster youth and adoptive families. This includes counseling, case management, and coordination of community resources.
Responsibilities
- Counseling foster youth and their families on mental health issues
- Assisting in the adoption process for children in need
- Coordinating with social workers and other professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Mentoring and supporting foster youth in developing life skills and coping mechanisms
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in child welfare or mental health
- Licenses/certifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with trauma-informed care
- Knowledge of foster care and adoption systems
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Pay
$60,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
