About the role

As a Family Centered Treatment Therapist - Licensed, you will provide quality psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families utilizing the Family Centered Treatment (FCT) model. This role is essential in delivering evidence-informed care in homes, communities, and offices, guided by our core values of client-centered care, empowerment, excellence, purpose-driven culture, and adaptive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Clinical Services as per the service definition and model fidelity requirements. FCT Certification is required and must be completed within one year of employment.
• Complete FCT Checkoffs and other internal training within designated deadlines via an e-learning system.
• Deliver FCT clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families, primarily in their living environments, with a family focus.
• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage to a caseload of families and children, requiring a flexible work schedule.
• Complete all required Clinical Records and FCT documents with the child and family, ensuring timely entry/upload in the Electronic Health Record.
• Develop and maintain Service Plans in coordination with the Treatment Team, following designated authorization processes.
• Collaborate with Treatment Team members to ensure effective communication and coordinated service provision.
• Provide psychoeducation as indicated in the Service Plan.
• Conduct interventions aligned with the FCT model, facilitating movement through the four phases of treatment and completing all fidelity documents.
• Assist families and children in establishing weekly goals and identifying steps to reach them.
• Develop and coordinate discharge plans, indicating aftercare needs and accessing community resources.
• Convene the Treatment Team for Service Plan development and ongoing assessment activities.
• Consult with medical (e.g., primary care, psychiatric) and non-medical (e.g., Dept. of Child Services, school, Dept. of Juvenile Justice) providers, engaging community and natural supports.
• Provide and coordinate behavioral health services and interventions with other professionals and Treatment Team members.
• Ensure your NPI number is used to bill for services performed by those you supervise, maintaining current credentials and compliance with training requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Two years’ experience working with youth or families.
• Current Family Centered Treatment Certification is preferred.

State-Specific Requirements

Ohio: Must hold one of the following current professional licenses in the state of Ohio: LSW, LISW, LPC, LMFT, or LPCC.
