Family Attorney

About the role

An established law firm is seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join its growing team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience handling family law matters, a strong commitment to client advocacy, and the ability to navigate sensitive and emotionally challenging situations with professionalism and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Handle family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and related cases.
• Manage contested cases and participate in courtroom proceedings.
• Maintain a high-volume caseload while paying close attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when dealing with emotionally charged situations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Texas attorney in good standing (candidates awaiting bar results are not eligible).
• Minimum of one year of experience practicing family law.
• Experience handling divorce, child custody, child support, and other family law matters.
• Experience with contested cases and courtroom proceedings strongly preferred.
• Ability to reside in the Dallas metropolitan area or willingness to commute to Dallas.
