About the role

As a Family Advocate, you will play a crucial role in supporting families in need. Your responsibilities include providing emotional support, assisting with accessing resources, and advocating for the best interests of the families you serve.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support to families in crisis
  • Assist families in accessing necessary resources and services
  • Advocate for the best interests of the families you serve
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy at all times

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in social services or counseling
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Knowledge of local community resources and service providers
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay

Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
