About the role
As a Family Advocate, you will play a crucial role in supporting families in need. Your responsibilities include providing emotional support, assisting with accessing resources, and advocating for the best interests of the families you serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support to families in crisis
- Assist families in accessing necessary resources and services
- Advocate for the best interests of the families you serve
- Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy at all times
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in social services or counseling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Knowledge of local community resources and service providers
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
