Program Description
The Curriculum & Prevention Program VISTA will strengthen organizational capacity by developing sustainable curriculum systems, improving prevention education resources, supporting program documentation, enhancing youth engagement tools, and building internal structures that allow staff and community partners to deliver high-quality prevention programming. This role will support the Family Always Matter Prevention Program by helping organize and strengthen evidence-based curriculum materials, including Sexual Risk Avoidance Education, Aggression Replacement Training, social-emotional learning, conflict resolution, emotional regulation, healthy decision-making, and life skills education. The VISTA will focus on building long-term program infrastructure rather than providing ongoing direct service, helping Park Place Outreach expand its prevention education capacity and better support at-risk youth and families in Savannah and surrounding communities.
Member Duties
Strengthen the capacity, consistency, and sustainability of the Family Always Matter Prevention Program by developing curriculum tools, program systems, facilitator resources, and documentation processes that support trauma-informed prevention education for at-risk youth ages 11–17.
Service Areas
