About the Role
We are seeking a Fall Protection Project Manager to join our Safety practice in our Dayton, Ohio office. This role involves coordinating and leading fall protection projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Essential Functions
- Leverage technical knowledge of codes, standards, and safety systems to oversee construction documents and project management from design to installation.
- Maintain resource assignments using an ERP system.
- Develop proposals, budgets, and schedules for new projects.
- Manage project budgets and ensure client progress is communicated.
- Maintain and develop client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal project team members to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure compliance with LJB standards and applicable codes.
- Mentor engineers, project managers, safety professionals, and designers to develop and grow the team.
- Travel to project sites to understand customer needs and develop scopes of work (up to 30%).
Additional Responsibilities and Duties
- Engage subconsultants and subcontractors as necessary to supplement in-house capabilities.
- Show strong leadership and teamwork skills to support both your projects and those of other project managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of project manager experience in construction of new and existing buildings or renovations utilizing steel and concrete.
- Experience with fall protection system projects.
- Professional Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in project or construction management, engineering, or safety.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Able to traverse worksites in various weather conditions.
- Able to bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to perform duties.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Understanding of construction site dangers.
