The Fall Outdoor Education Program Seasonal Leader is responsible for leading outdoor educational programs for students. The program includes activities such as hiking, camping, and environmental education.
Responsibilities
- Lead group hikes and outdoor activities
- Teach environmental education lessons
- Ensure safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and execute programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with youth
- Valid driver’s license
- First Aid/CPR certification
Qualifications
- Pass a background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Pass a drug screening
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Outdoor leadership experience
- Knowledge of local flora and fauna
