About the role
Hunton Andrews Kurth’s New York office is seeking a Class of 2027 entry‑level associate to join its Real Estate practice in Fall 2027. The firm’s Real Estate practice is a core focus area, nationally recognized by Chambers and The Legal 500, and includes more than 80 attorneys across eight offices. Associates work on high‑value, market‑leading deals in New York and nationwide, with meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to complex transactions.
Responsibilities
- Assist on sophisticated acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
- Support development projects, leasing, and joint‑venture transactions.
- Contribute to large‑scale real‑estate matters such as billion‑dollar data‑center deals, major portfolio acquisitions, city‑block redevelopments, and innovative debt restructurings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of more than 200 lawyers handling transactions valued at over $239 billion annually.
- Provide analytical and written support to senior attorneys and clients.
Qualifications
- Class of 2027 graduate seeking an entry‑level associate position.
- Demonstrated interest in real estate law.
- Strong academic record.
- Exceptional analytical and writing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Initiative, leadership potential, and ability to work independently with clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to be a true team player.
- Admission to the New York Bar (required).
Pay
Expected salary for this position is $225,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on education, training, skill sets, licensure, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
