Fall 2026 Sports Business Internship - Marketing

Rhode Island FC, a professional soccer club competing in the USL Championship, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented college intern for the Fall 2026 season. This comprehensive internship provides invaluable hands-on experience in the Communications department, offering direct exposure to the diverse functions that drive a professional sports organization.

About the role

This seasonal internship is designed to align with academic calendars, offering flexible start dates. The position is for college credit only and limited to no more than 28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program and eligible to receive college credit.
• Prior experience in marketing is a plus.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for sports, marketing, fan engagement, community involvement, and the business of live entertainment is preferred.

Requirements

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, game days, and events as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.

Physical Requirements
