Fall 2026 Sessional Lecturer: LMP2350H Professionalism (0.25FCE)
About the role
This module introduces professionalism in experiential learning, reflection, and self-evaluation paradigms in healthcare. The module will be presented in 6 sessions of 2 hours each, introducing students to the basics of Professionalism etiquette and its role in shaping leadership and team-based interactions in a healthcare context. It will also address reflection and self-evaluation, exploring students' awareness of themselves as translational researchers in a global context and how their work and approach to a need can be applied in different settings.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and delivery of course content, including lectures and/or seminars
- Creation of courseware
- The development and administration of assignments, tests, and examinations
- Marking and grading of student work and submission of grades to appropriate University officials
- Maintenance of reasonable hours of student contact outside of scheduled contact hours
Requirements
Minimum qualifications: Masters degree. Minimum qualifications: Professional and/or academic experience related to the course material is preferred.
