Fall 2026 Sales Engineering - Internship [Customer Support]

About the role

As a Sales Engineering Intern for MTU Maintenance Fort Worth, you will collaborate with Customer Account Managers and Support Managers to deliver a safe, reliable, and cost-effective product for our customers. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of sales, engineering, invoicing, and Aircraft Powerplant Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of Customer Account Management support groups and procedures
• Use engineering principles and fundamentals to assist with customer invoice management
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or suggests improved methods
• Gathers, correlates, and analyzes specific data using established procedures
• Performs a variety of routine tasks that will improve the individual’s familiarization with the engineering methods, practices, and programs of the company
• Affords assistance to Engineers and Customer Account Managers with large projects, as needed

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in either a BS or MS program in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
• Able to work full time for the Fall 2026 Semester
• Willing to work in a hands-on, constantly evolving environment
• Detail oriented, managing multiple priorities while maintaining focus towards a common goal
• Communicates effectively, verbal and written
• Willing to work in a team-oriented environment
• Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Qualifications

• Previous Aviation Experience
• Knowledge of FAA FARs and CFRs
• Knowledge of Aircraft Engines and Systems
