[Fall 2026] Middle School Flag Football Head Coach

About the role

The successful candidate will lead a team of coaches in organizing and managing a season-long middle school flag football program at multiple New York locations. This is a part-time and seasonal position, typically running from September to May.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for players and coaches
• Manage logistics including scheduling practices, games, and travel arrangements
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
• Work closely with school administrators and parents to maintain positive relationships and ensure the success of the program

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Coaching, Sports Management, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the middle school level
• Experience with flag football and other related sports
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Pass a background check
