Job Overview

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day efforts of THE·TEAM's Talent Marketing department by assisting with brand partnerships, endorsement opportunities, and client marketing initiatives. This role provides administrative and project support to marketing leadership while helping coordinate client branding efforts, partnership outreach, and campaign execution.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify brand partnership opportunities for THE·TEAM's Football athletes.
  • Conduct outreach to brands and agencies to secure complimentary products, barter partnerships, and paid endorsement deals.
  • Build and maintain target lists of prospective brand partners and marketing contacts.
  • Track outreach efforts, partnership opportunities, campaign requests, and client marketing activities.
  • Create and update client marketing materials, pitch decks, athlete portfolios, and partnership presentations.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other marketing documents as needed.
  • Monitor social media, industry trends, and athlete news to identify client highlights and new partnership opportunities.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns, brand activations, and promotional initiatives.
  • Cook up with clients, agents, brands, and external partners to help ensure campaign deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Cook up with marketing logistics for athlete appearances, interviews, charitable initiatives, and major NFL events, including the Combine, Draft, Super Bowl, and Pro Bowl.
  • Help maintain accurate records of brand relationships, campaign performance, and partnership history.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Marketing team while contributing to new business development initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently getting a college degree, preferably in marketing, communications, sports management, or related field.
  • Possess persuasiveness skills to successfully negotiate on behalf of the client’s interests.
  • Requires considerable flexibility in scheduling and the willingness to work nights and weekends.
  • Requires a passion for sports and business.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social/digital media.
  • Well-developed communication skills and ability to interact with people of all demographics.
  • Requires self-management and project management abilities.
  • Ability to build strong, lasting relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment and significant initiative.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and manage expectations.

Internship Program Details

  • The Internship Program runs between September 9th - December 11th, 2026.
  • Must be able to come into our Los Angeles office 2-3x per week.
  • Must be able to earn college credit for an internship.
  • Time commitment expectation of 20 hours per week.
