Intern Expectations

  • Work 24-29.9 hours a week during the session.
  • Lear about other areas within Excel through lunch and learns held throughout the semester.

Important Dates

  • Fall Program runs from Monday, September 14th, 2026 through Thursday, December 10th, 2026.

Office Hours

  • 9:00 am - 6:00 PM CT, Monday-Friday OR as agreed upon with advisor.

Intern Qualifications

  • Available to work under 30 hours per week.
  • Available to report to the Chicago office approximately 3-days a week.
  • Must have completed your junior year of undergrad OR Be enrolled in a graduate school OR Have a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.

Interview Process

  • Applications will close on August 14th, 2026.
  • If selected, the expectation is that offers will be extended mid to late August.
  • The program will begin on September 14th, 2026.

Role Objectives and Expectations

  • Contribute to the evaluation and analysis of sports sponsorship opportunities.
  • Aid in determining the value and impact of sponsorships within the sports industry.
  • Work closely with a team of professionals passionate about optimizing sponsorship strategies and maximizing return on investment for organizations and its partners.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in statistical/quantitative analysis, business analytics, information systems, business, finance, economics, sports management, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates may also be considered.
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for utilizing data to drive business decisions and financial evaluations.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Familiarity with database structures and querying syntax e.g.SQL, with working knowledge of Python, R, and GenAI a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience or interest in database management and data organization.
  • Passion for sports and a basic understanding of the sports industry and sponsorship landscape is preferred.
  • Prior experience or coursework in sports analytics, sponsorship valuation, or related fields is a plus.

Pay

The pay for this position is: $17.05 per hour.
