Internship Overview

We are looking for a motivated and curious IT Intern who is passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and learning about computers, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems.

Specific Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of conference room technology, including displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing equipment.
• Ensure meeting rooms are clean, organized, and fully operational before business meetings.
• Organize, label, inventory, and maintain IT equipment, cables, adapters, peripherals, and storage areas.
• Aid with computer deployments, workstation setups, and hardware replacements.
• Help maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Aid with imaging, configuring, and preparing laptops and desktops for new employees.
• Support user account setup and other routine IT administrative tasks.
• Learn and assist with networking equipment, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and infrastructure projects.
• Gain exposure to cloud platforms, cybersecurity best practices, identity management, and modern IT operations.
• Participate in IT improvement projects and process documentation.
• Keep IT workspaces, server rooms, and storage areas neat, organized, and secure.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to employees requesting technical assistance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Exposure to networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers) is a plus.
• Interest in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience building PCs, homelabs, or personal technology projects is a plus.
