About the role

The Fair Lending Specialist, Sr is responsible for ensuring compliance with fair lending laws and regulations. This includes conducting fair lending reviews, providing guidance on fair lending policies, and participating in fair lending training programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fair lending reviews to ensure compliance with federal and state fair lending laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance on fair lending policies and procedures to internal teams.
• Participate in fair lending training programs and workshops.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address fair lending issues and improve processes.
• Stay current with changes in fair lending laws and regulations through ongoing education and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, law, or business).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fair lending compliance, preferably in a financial services environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fair lending laws and regulations, including the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Housing Act (FHA), and other relevant statutes.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
