Faculty, Welding & Fabrication Engineering Technology
About the role
This position is responsible for educational leadership, student instruction, and student advising within the Welding & Fabrication Engineering Technology department. The faculty member will teach and evaluate student performance in areas such as:
- Weld Design
- High Energy Density Welding Processes
- Fabrication of Alloys
- Non-Destructive Testing
- Welding Codes and Procedures
- Foundational Welding Processes (Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, and Flux Cored Arc Welding)
Requirements
Minimum education and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Welding Engineering, Welding Technology, or closely related discipline.
- Five (5) years of industrial experience in welding.
