About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional individual to advance the institution’s tradition of excellence in academics, student life, and community service. As a Faculty Tutor III in Computer Science, you will play a key role as a teacher, mentor, and academic advisor, supporting student success and contributing to HCC’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Provide tutoring and academic support to students in computer science courses.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career development.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Support the use of technology in distance education (experience in this area is a plus).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours completed in computer science (official transcripts required). A Doctorate is preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a combination of teaching and commercial software development.
