What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitate teaching and learning in classroom, laboratory, and clinical environments.
- Evaluate students and provide academic and career advising.
- Plan and organize instructional materials to meet course objectives.
- Participate in curriculum development and revision, emphasizing innovation and multicultural perspectives.
- Engage in departmental recruitment and retention activities.
- Serve on committees as assigned.
- Prepare and submit student data to the Department Chairperson.
- Teach day, evening, and weekend classes as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in any field and Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care.
- Science National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential.
- Valid State of Florida Respiratory Therapist license.
- Three (3) years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in the field.
- All degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions.
- Strong technology skills in instructional tools and student-centered learning methods.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural environment.
