About the Role
We are seeking full-time doctoral-level faculty researchers to join the Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. This research faculty position will focus on epilepsy and women’s health, as well as an NINDS-funded UE5 research training program for residents in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Neuropathology.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of one or more research projects, including oversight of project life cycles.
- Provide leadership, technical direction, coordination, and expertise across projects.
- Contribute to the writing of research proposals, progress reports, and manuscripts.
- Communicate with multiple co-investigators and collaborators.
Requirements
- Ph.D., MD, or DO in Sciences or Medicine.
- Academic credentials appropriate for faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh.
- Effective spoken and written English skills.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the NIH grant submission process.
- Biostatistical skills.
