About the role
The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time appointment stream faculty position in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor level.
Responsibilities
- Didactic and clinical instruction of residents and dental students
- Curriculum development
- Implementation of program policies
- Research supervision
- Scholarly activities
- Service
- Leverage leadership opportunities to serve as a graduate program director
- Participation in University Dental Health Services (UDHS) faculty practice
Requirements
- Possess or be able to obtain an appropriate license for clinical practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Have a DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent
- Have a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from a CODA-accredited program
- Be board certified or eligible for certification
- Develop an area of clinical excellence
- Have proven administrative experience
Qualifications
- Favorable consideration will be given to those with leadership skills, additional expertise, and training credentials such as a dual specialty certification, MS, Ph.D., fellowship qualification, or other advanced degrees

Pay
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience, and credentials.
