About the role

The Department of Neurology at UCSF is seeking applications for faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and full Professor ranks of the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, and In Residence faculty series. These positions can be appointed to either the Division of Movement Disorders and Neuromodulation or the Division of Neuroimmunology and Glial Biology.

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities include didactic and informal teaching on clinical rounds, and/or informal laboratory teaching.
• Meet the required qualifications at the time of appointment.
• State qualifications (or explain if pending) upon submission of application materials.

Requirements

• Medical or doctoral degree.
• Postdoctoral or post-MD residency and fellowship training in the stated field.
• Current medical licensure.
• Board Certification in Neurology.
• An established record of excellence in clinical care and/or research.

• Qualified faculty candidates must possess a medical or doctoral degree and postdoctoral or post-MD residency and fellowship training in their stated field.
• Preferred qualifications include current medical licensure, Board Certification in Neurology, and an established record of excellence in clinical care and/or research.

Pay

• For positions that are 51% effort or more: The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $102,600-$333,700.
• For positions that are 50% effort or less: See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $78,900-$238,300.

Schedule

This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
