Faculty Position - Perfusion Instructor
About the role
The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University seeks a part-time faculty member to teach in their Master's in Cardiovascular Perfusion Science program. The position begins in the Fall 2026 semester and is a 50% 9-month appointment.
Responsibilities
- Teach in various clinical, skills laboratory, and simulation settings
- Supervise and evaluate students' performance
- Reside in commutable distance to the School of Nursing’s main campus and the Emory Nursing Learning Center in Decatur, Georgia
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited university/college
- Graduation from an accredited perfusion program
- Licensure as a perfusionist in the State of Georgia prior to the official start date
Qualifications
- Priority given to individuals with teaching experience
- Master’s prepared individuals will be hired as clinical instructors, appointed to ranks of Assistant Professor or higher
- Doctorate and peer-reviewed publications may lead to higher appointments
