Faculty Position - Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

About the Role

Seeking a full-time faculty member for a Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Ruskin, FL. This role involves delivering student-centered, interactive education, advising students, engaging in scholarly activities, and participating in university, professional, and community service. The program emphasizes systems-based, clinical competency training for entry-level physical therapists and holds re-accreditation from CAPTE.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DHS, DSc, DPT, or ABD)
• Over three years of clinical experience
• Clinical teaching or coordination experience
• Eligible for Florida licensure as a physical therapist

Preferred Qualifications

• ABPTS certification
• Expertise in musculoskeletal therapy
• Expertise in exercise physiology
• Prior teaching experience
