Assistant Professor-Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
Key Responsibilities
- Teach in the DPT program
- Engage in an ongoing program of scholarship demonstrated by a strong scholarly agenda
- Provide service to the department, University, and profession
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a minimum of three to five years of clinical experience and be licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT in New York
- A proven record as an active investigator, with demonstrated externally funded research from federal and/or corporate/industry research sources, along with ABPTS certification is preferred
- Prior teaching in the classroom and/or clinic, in addition to contemporary expertise encompassing physical therapy discipline knowledge, skills and scholarship reflective of current practice, is required
The successful candidate will be a physical therapist with an academic (PhD, EdD, DSc, or equivalent) terminal degree.
Academic faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
