Faculty Position, Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences - Pharmacoeconomics / Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)

About the role

The Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital invites applications for a faculty position in Pharmacoeconomics/Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) within the Division of Pharmaceutical Services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct economic evaluations, outcomes research, and real-world evidence studies focusing on pediatric, rare, or catastrophic diseases.
• Develop and apply decision models and value-based assessment tools.
• Collaborate with basic, translational, and clinical investigators to conduct interdisciplinary research.
• Utilize St. Jude’s extensive shared resources and genomic data in St. Jude Cloud.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and/or a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree with appropriate training in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Health Policy, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related discipline.
• Expertise in economic evaluation, outcomes research, real-world evidence, decision modeling, and value-based assessment.
• Experience in conducting research on pediatric, rare, or catastrophic diseases.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Proven track record of research contributions, evidenced by three publications linked in the application.
• A well-articulated research plan (3-5 pages).

Skills

• Strong background in health economics and outcomes research.
• Experience in conducting economic evaluations and decision modeling.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
