Faculty Position, Department of Pediatric Medicine, Division of Anesthesiology

About the role

The Division of Anesthesiology within the Department of Pediatric Medicine at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital seeks a full-time, ACGME accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship trained BC/BE pediatric anesthesiologist. Candidate must be eligible for a State of Tennessee medical/osteopathic license. This is a faculty-level position and is open to Assistant, Associate or Full Member (equivalent to Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor in a medical school setting).

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care to pediatric patients undergoing various procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
• Contribute to research initiatives related to pediatric anesthesia.
• Teach and mentor residents and fellows in the field of pediatric anesthesia.

Requirements

• ACGME accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship trained BC/BE pediatric anesthesiologist.
• MD or DO degree.
• Eligible for a State of Tennessee medical/osteopathic license.

Qualifications

The successful applicant should be a physician with an MD or DO degree. They should have experience in providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients and be committed to advancing the field of pediatric anesthesia through teaching and research.
