Faculty Position - Department of Immunology
About the role
The Department of Immunology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital seeks creative applicants with bold vision and demonstrated excellence in immunology research, including fundamental immune cell biology, tissue immunity, organismal immunity, systems and computational immunology, and synthetic immunology and immuno-engineering.
Responsibilities
- Conduct groundbreaking independent and collaborative research in immunology
- Translate fundamental discoveries into next-generation therapies for pediatric catastrophic diseases
- Participate in interdisciplinary research with basic, translational, and clinical investigators
- Access to cutting-edge shared resources and core facilities
- Collaborative network with basic, translational, and clinical investigators
- Opportunities to work with graduate students and teaching opportunities in St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC)
- Work in a vibrant and friendly city with mild winters and beautiful green outdoor spaces
Requirements
Minimum Education: Successful applicants must hold a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree, have at least three years of relevant postgraduate experience, and have a proven track record of productivity.
