Faculty Physician - OB/GYN: Urogynecology

About the role

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences seek a fellowship-trained, board certified or board eligible Urogynecologist (faculty ranks commensurate with experience: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to join our growing team in Charleston, West Virginia.

The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Urogynecology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in Urogynecology
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Lead and help build a comprehensive Urogynecology program
  • Conduct advanced, ground-breaking research to enhance and elevate patient care
  • Engage in scholarly activities aimed at advancing the field of Urogynecology and improving clinical outcomes

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
  • Eligible for state medical license
  • Completed an OB/GYN residency program
  • Completed a URPS fellowship program
  • Board certified or board eligible in URPS

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences was established to advance the health and wellbeing of the women of West Virginia and surrounding region.
