About the role

The University of Minnesota Medical School’s Department of Radiology seeks one fulltime ABR board certified/eligible radiologist with a primary interest in Neuroradiology. Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and engage in scholarly productivity in one or more specialty areas in radiology
  • Participate in all facets of neuroradiology, including inpatient and outpatient services
  • Instruct post-graduate and medical school students
  • Pursue scholarly work in the candidate’s area of specialty/research expertise
  • Foster an academic environment for medical students, residents, and faculty

Requirements

  • M.D. or equivalent degree
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota
  • Board certified or board eligible
  • Completion of ACGME accredited radiology residency training
  • Completion of a neuroradiology fellowship preferred

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in teaching and scholarly productivity
  • Advanced imaging expertise (e.g. fMRI, ASL, DTI, MRP)
  • Subspecialization areas include Pediatrics, Interventional, Spine Therapy, Head & Neck, and Neuro-Oncology

Skills

  • Ability to teach and mentor medical students and residents
  • Research and publication skills in radiology
  • Experience with advanced imaging techniques
  • Knowledge of neuroradiology subspecialties

Pay and Benefits

  • Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks
  • Base salary range for this position is $396,000 – $476,000 commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE
  • Salaried position with clinical salary provided through M Physicians
