Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine Division of Neuroradiology is growing! We are seeking an exceptional Neuroradiologist to join our team in a part-time faculty role.
About the Role
This recruitment will support our continued growth, including: opening of a Cancer and Advanced Ambulatory Building, a new multi-disciplinary ambulatory care site, an expansion of our main hospital, and a new tower for Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Interpret more than 700,000 studies annually, covering various specialties including but not limited to oncology, theranostics, fMRI and neuro-imaging, interventional radiology, and AI.
- Participate in more than 50 ongoing clinical trials across a variety of areas.
- Teach and interact with medical students.
- Support learners on the ABR alternate pathway.
- Contribute to the department's educational programs, including residencies and fellowships.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree (or equivalent) and board-certified or board-eligible by The American Board of Radiology.
- Subspecialty training and/or experience in neuroradiology is a plus.
Qualifications
- Eligibility for, or in possession of, a Kentucky Medical License and DEA license.
Skills
- Ability to interpret a high volume of studies.
- Knowledge of clinical trials and participation in multiple research initiatives.
- Experience teaching and interacting with medical students.
- Ability to participate in and contribute to departmental educational programs.
