About the role

Responsible for providing medical care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU setting. Works closely with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in pediatric patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Participate in rounds and consultations to discuss patient progress and care plans
• Conduct research and contribute to the advancement of pediatric critical care medicine

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of New York
• Completion of a pediatric residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
• Experience in pediatric critical care preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
