About the role

The Department of Dermatology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston is recruiting for a full-time position in general medical dermatology. The successful candidate will join the department and provide patient care and education within its residency training program. The department delivers exceptional, comprehensive dermatologic care across more than six clinical locations, including UT Physicians Bellaire Station and Harris Health clinics, and collaborates interdisciplinarily with UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, offering expertise in adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery, dermatopathology, and cosmetic dermatology.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education within the residency training program.
• Train students, residents, and fellows in dermatology.
• Pursue subspecialty focus areas such as inpatient consultative dermatology, complex medical dermatology, and skin of color.
• Demonstrate a commitment to resident education.

Qualifications

• MD, MD, PhD, or equivalent degree.
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Dermatology.
• Current Texas medical licensure.
