Faculty Instructor - Full-Time

About the role

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy seeks an experienced educator to contribute to the academic mission.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in pharmaceutical sciences, including biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, drug development, dosage forms, anatomy & physiology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics.
• Teach in professional and graduate programs, and assist in developing and teaching undergraduate courses.
• Work collaboratively with faculty from both the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics to meet accreditation standards and contemporary content needs.

Requirements

• A PharmD and/or PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, or equivalent health-related discipline.
• Prior teaching experience with a strong track record of high-quality instruction.

• Experience working with students in professional and graduate programs.
• Strong commitment to excellence in education.
