About the role
Jersey College is seeking Registered Nurse Instructors to join our dedicated team. We are committed to providing high-quality education and fostering the success of our students.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care settings.
- Create a supportive and educational clinical environment for students.
- Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records.
- Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
- Implement evaluation devices to measure student learning and clinical experience.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
- Supervise students in the clinical setting and deliver effective lessons.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current valid State RN license.
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the area of nursing specialty.
- Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to supervise students effectively in the clinical setting.
- Experience delivering effective lessons to RN and PN students.

- Ability to motivate and guide students towards professional development.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using technology and resources to support student learning.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with nursing trends and best practices.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
