Cardiothoracic and Critical Care Anesthesiologist position within a top-ranked cardiac program, providing anesthesia for high‑acuity surgeries and contributing to teaching, research, and clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for high‑acuity cardiothoracic and transplant surgeries, including ECMO, LVAD, robotics, and aortic dissection procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, perfusionists, and nurses in a fast‑paced, academic environment.
• Offer ICU coverage.
• Participate in teaching medical students and residents.
• Support clinical research and scientific inquiry within the cardiac program.
• Support a growing heart transplant program.
• Contribute to a high‑volume case load.
• Engage in a teaching partnership with a leading medical school.
• Provide clinical leadership in complex cardiac cases.
• Ensure high‑quality patient care in a top‑tier academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified or eligible in anesthesiology with specialization in cardiothoracic and critical care anesthesiology.
• Experience with advanced surgical procedures and critical care management.
