Faculty, Architecture

Education

A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related discipline is required. A Master's Degree in Architecture or a related discipline is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of CAD as applied to architectural drawing
• In-depth knowledge of building science and sustainability
• A Doctorate in a related discipline
• Formal coursework in Education
• Licenses as a Registered Architect or Professional Engineer

Experience

• Four (4) years of professional experience in architecture or closely related job responsibilities
• Experience in computer graphics, computer applications, or computer-aided design
• Experience with sustainability issues in the AEC industry
• Two (2) years of teaching experience at the college/university level

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other appropriate job-related duties as assigned by Dean/Assistant Dean
• Provide coordination and supervision for instructional field projects

Pay

Commensurate with credentials submitted as applied to the College’s Faculty Salary System. As a point of reference, the salary range for new full-time faculty hired in various disciplines throughout the College for the 2025/26 academic year is $61,969 – $79,813.
