Factory Technician - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to spec
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes
• Follow cut lists and production schedules with precision
• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders
• Pack, label, and stage outbound shipments
• Record cut data and job completions in our software systems, accurately, every time
• Avoid making assumptions, always ask questions when unsure
• Identify ways to improve processes and procedures
• Ensure all deliveries meet customer expectations
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment
• Handle tasks independently and seek assistance when needed
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Be available to work outside of regular hours as needed

Requirements

• Knowledgeable or experienced in a factory, metals service center, bandsaws, industrial saws, CNC equipment, or skilled trades
• High attention to quality, ensuring every cut, every certificate, and every shipment meets standards
• Commitment to safety, following protocols, wearing personal protective equipment, and never compromising safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate heavy equipment for a full shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience in metals, aluminum, or aerospace/defense supply chains
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification
• Comfortable using digital tools to track and manage processes
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenging tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working outside of regular business hours when necessary
