Factory Controller

We are seeking a Factory Controller based in our Byhalia, MS factory to join the Finance Operations team. This role is fully onsite.

About the role

Your future team: You will become part of the Finance Operations team and will be reporting to the Director - Operations Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial data to initiate and support operating decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Generate Operations Reporting, conduct business analysis, reconciliation, and forecasts, and analyze actual results compared to budget and prior years for all factory and related activities.
• Prepare annual standard costing and monitor actual versus standard deviation.
• Maintain factory investment alignment with group guidance, budget controlling, and project time controlling.
• Provide backup and support for the MAR Factory Controllers in periods of absence.
• Offer ad hoc analysis support to the Operations and Finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing business processes.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with standard costing systems, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a high level of ownership, commitment, and energy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with sound business judgment and a practical, hands-on approach.
• Able to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Pay

The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This role is bonus eligible.
