Responsibilities
- Design and update electrical systems, prints, and programs for machines and equipment.
- Create and maintain interfaces for shop-floor tools and systems.
- Lead and execute professional controls engineering tasks requiring limited management or coordination.
- Respond to critical production down situations affecting manufacturing and maintenance.
- Support integration of shop floor machines into site MES and PLCs.
Qualifications
- Background in Engineering (Electrical, Controls, Computer, etc.).
- Ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline, or 3 plus years of related work experience.
- Skilled in PLC and computer programming, Structured Query Language (SQL), and associated engineering tools.
- Knowledge of electrical design, codes, common practices, and required engineering tools.
- Knowledge of MES/SCADA solutions and shop floor device connectivity.
- Project management experience with effective communication, teamwork skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Skills
- 3 or more years of experience in related engineering areas: electrical, controls, computer, etc.
- 3 or more years of experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases.
- 3 or more years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting.
- 3 or more years of experience in PLC and/or PC programming.
- 2 or more years of experience in project management for moderate to large scale complex projects.
Pay
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $40.54 - $40.54/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law.
