About the role

We are hiring a Facility Technician. In this role, you can expect hands-on exposure to facility maintenance by performing routine upkeep and simple repairs on a variety of equipment. You’ll build foundational technical skills while working side-by-side with experienced maintenance professionals who are invested in your growth. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and Troubleshoot Equipment: Diagnose, maintain, and repair facility, process, and delivery equipment using electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical expertise to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
  • Advanced Diagnostics and Test Equipment: Leverage a wide range of diagnostic tools, including infrared cameras, ultrasonic detection, control software, and electrical test equipment, to accurately identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Calibration and System Performance: Adjust, calibrate, and verify equipment performance to ensure proper operation and seamless integration with related systems
  • Preventive Maintenance and Documentation: Support the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs through inspections, testing, servicing, and accurate maintenance documentation
  • Manufacturer and Vendor Collaboration: Partner with equipment manufacturers and service technicians during installation, alignment, calibration, repairs, and system modifications

Requirements

  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
  • A technical training certificate in mechanical/electronics repair is required
  • A basic understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic principles and their application to machine tools and operations equipment is needed
  • Previous use of machine drawings, schematics, ladder diagrams and machine diagnostic equipment is helpful
  • A minimum of 6 months demonstrated hands-on experience outside of an educational setting which utilized some of the following systems:
    • Computer
    • Electronic
    • Electrical
    • Hydraulic
    • Pneumatic
    • Mechanical
  • Ability to work in a work environment exposed to temperatures, dust, machinery-related fluids, and uncomfortable working positions
  • Ability to work at heights up to 30 ft., and be able to work overhead and in confined spaces is helpful
